HOW DO I RESERVE MY PARTY DATE?


"Step 1" 

Please go to the top of our homepage and click Make a Reservation and follow the steps provided on that page. We will call you or email you back to discuss the details once we receive your request form filled out in full and all required info checked off. 

"Step 2"

Pay your deposit. You may also contact us by email at [email protected] for any inquiry's you may have. A non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your party date. Deposit amounts vary depending on scope and customization of your event. You can easily pay your deposit on our website. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Personal Check and Money Orders. (Checks and money orders are to be mailed to us and once they clear the bank we will schedule a date with you and move forward. Checks and Money Orders can be made out to "One Wish Events & More". This deposit will go towards the cost of your party. The second portion of the balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event/party. Final payment will need to be paid in full 3 days before the day of your party. Any additional fees accumulated will be added to your bill at the end of the party in which a payment will be due via Cash or Credit.


WHERE CAN MY PARTY OR EVENT BE HELD AND WHEN WILL ONE WISH EVENTS AND/OR STAFF ARRIVE?

All Parties can be held in your own home, or at your special event location. We can recommend various rental venues. Please ask for more information. You will be responsible for communicating with the venue, unless otherwise arranged. We will arrive approximately 1.5-3.5 hours before children's parties to set up and we will stay for about an hour or less after the party to take down what we put up. PLEASE discuss this with your venue prior to the event.


WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AS THE PARENT/CAREGIVER FOR CHILDREN'S EVENTS?

You will provide us with photographs or descriptions of the event space, or we can include a home visit. We do not remove trash or disposable boxes or clean the venue or location after events. Unless otherwise arranged. (There is an additional fee for this service)

All decor (large or hanging items) are contingent upon the setup and layout of the home or event space. PLEASE let us know what size and shape your tables and chairs are so that we can bring the right table linens. If you are renting tables, 6 or 8 foot banquet rectangular tables are ideal (we can also arrange rental for you just mention it to us because there is a rental fee). Folding adult OR child's chairs work perfectly.

Parents are responsible for children at ALL times and must be present in the event room. We are there to provide entertainment and decor but children are not to be left unattended. If you have siblings or other children that participate in the party in any way, an additional child fee will apply and will be added to your bill at the end of the party in which a payment will be due via Cash or Credit.


WHEN DO I NEED A FINAL HEAD COUNT?

5-7 days before the event for children's parties. However, some custom item counts are required well in advance. The final bill is based on the advance head count. You are still responsible for payment for all guests in the head count even if they do not show up to the event. If there are unexpected guests or siblings we will do our BEST to accommodate but may not be able to. The added per child cost will then be added to the final bill.

ARE THERE TRAVEL FEES OR OTHER FEES OR SURCHARGES?

We charge an event designer's flat fee depending on size and scope of the event (usually starting at $600 for a small birthday party to $2000+ for a larger events or weddings), as well as 20% of total budget. We charge $1 per mile over 20 miles.

Travel fees apply outside a 50 mile radius of Methuen, Massachusetts is based on Google maps. The fee is $1.00 per mile over that, each way. 

Drive time over 1 ½ hrs from Methuen, MA: Require Over night accommodations paid by client. Our themed events starting rate is $1,200 and with Catering it's $ 1,500 . All deposits and payments, both initial and incremental, are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If you are doing your own cake there will be a cake cutting/serving fee, and if you are doing your own chocolate fountain or other food yourself, their may be a serving or cleanup fee. You will be responsible for all parking fees associated with the event.

We charge for additional staff needed for setup, during the event, and breakdown.


WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR POSTPONE MY EVENT?

We will try to work with you to reschedule your event to another day that works for both of us. Deposits and payments are non-refundable, but SOMETIMES they can be applied towards another future date. Often our vendors such as tent companies and others, require non-refundable deposits from us. Sometimes, but not always, they are able to hold those deposits as credits for future dates. We always hope to accommodate clients when it comes to emergencies. Weekends are often booked far in advance but we will do our best.


WHAT IF HAS TO POSTPONE?

We will do everything in our power to make your event happen on your scheduled day. However, there may be unforeseen circumstances such as very bad weather or illness which may require the postponement of your event. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and arrange another event date for you. Weekends are often booked far in advance but we will do our best. If no date can be agreed upon, you will forfeit any and all deposits and payments.

WHAT IS YOUR LIABILITY AND PRIVACY POLICY?

Customer agrees to hold and keep harmless One Wish Events & More, its agents and employees from any and all property damages and/or bodily injury damage caused by the customer’s guests, or other persons attending party. Customer agrees to not hold One Wish Events & More, it's agents and employees responsible for inclement weather or other acts of God that may cause the cancellation of the party. Should something of this nature cause the cancellation of the party, One Wish Events & More, shall apply any remaining monies due to another party date and location that is mutually agreeable to both parties. In the event of damage or loss of One Wish Events & More, inventory and or damage or loss at the party’s location, the financial responsibility lies entirely with the client. You, as the Client, also assume all liability and responsibility for allergic reactions or any other medical reaction or illness stemming from the event food, wearing of costumes, makeup or any activity taken place before, during or after the party. By placing your deposit, customer agrees to allow One Wish Events & More, and it's employees and contracted help to photograph all of the event decor, room, setup, guests, and also to use photos of the client and the clients's child(ren), who may be under 18 years of age in any advertising, website, newsletters, and all types of media. If you would NOT like faces to be included in the photographs, please arrange this with us ahead of time.

MORE ON ALLERGIC AND MEDICAL REACTIONS

It will be your responsibility to check with your guests for any food allergies and to inform us of any concerns BEFORE the event (3-5 days ahead). If a guest should have severe allergies that we are unable to accommodate then either you or the child’s parent should provide alternate refreshments for that child. Our events are NOT guaranteed to be totally nut free or free of any other foods that your guests might be allergic to, such as dairy, wheat, nuts etc. We do NOT use any nuts in our food as ingredients, but we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of nuts used in cooking equipment or in the facilities where our food is prepared.
